Kim Moy

About

I'm currently a Senior Director of Design for Peacock Streaming at NBCUniversal, where I lead a team focused on account management, checkout, and authentication & data. With over 20 years of multidisciplinary design experience, I've spent my career at the intersection of vision and execution. I've been drawn to organizations and work that have required me to navigate ambiguity, align stakeholders around compelling vision, and elevate design's strategic impact.

Before Peacock, I shaped consumer credit card and retail bank acquisition and onboarding experiences as well as Commercial Bank applications at Capital One. Prior to that, I worked at T Brand Studio and The New York Times.

Whether I'm working in financial services or media, my focus remains the same: building teams that thrive while solving problems that matter. I believe great design emerges when you invest in both the problem you're solving and the people solving it.

Beyond my day job, creating spaces for people to meaningfully learn and connect is important to me. I am currently helping to organize a community for Asian Women in Design Leadership and in the past I led the UX + Data monthly meetup and taught at Columbia University.
